Financing

If you want to smooth out your payments, you can finance your ring through our finance partner Gilrose Finance. It's a straightforward way to pay over time, with 12 months interest-free.

Financing is arranged through Gilrose Finance, a New Zealand finance company. Your finance contract is with Gilrose directly, not with us. They assess your application, set your limit, and manage your repayments.

1. Apply via the online application form.
2. Gilrose assesses your application against their lending criteria and sets your limit if you get approved. Depending on the terms they offer, a deposit may be required.
3. Once you're approved you will recieve a credit contract and supporting documents from Gilrose. If you wish to proceed, you will need to sign the contract and any supporting documentation. 
4. Once the contract is signed, we can proceed with your order as normal.
5. Gilrose sends you a welcome back with all the payment details and you begin making payments to them directly.

You don't have to have finance sorted before you start. We can begin the design process with the $350 deposit and you can decide on finance later. The deposit will go towards your financing. 

It's 12 months interest-free. The standard term is 12 months with no interest. If you choose a term longer than 12 months, interest is charged from the 13th month onward, on the portion that runs past the first year.

Your limit and terms are set by Gilrose. They're based on Gilrose's lending criteria, not ours. We don't set the limit, the rate, or the repayment terms.

There are fees. Any fees that apply will be set out in your credit contract with Gilrose. It's worth reading these before you sign.

It's available to New Zealand residents only. Gilrose financing is open to people in New Zealand who are eligible under their criteria. If you're outside New Zealand, financing isn't available.

Gilrose is the only direct finance option we offer. If you'd prefer to split your payments another way, or make payments toward your ring directly with us, we can often arrange that. Reach out to the team and we'll work out what suits. 

Can I have a shorter term than 12 months? Yes. Three and six-month terms are available.

Can I use finance along with the duty-free collection service? Yes. You'll need to let Gilrose know, as it affects your finance arrangement. Read about duty-free collection.

Is there a deposit required? There may be. This is determined by Gilrose.

How will I make payments? Gilrose will send you a welcome pack with all the details once you're set up.

When do repayments start? Repayments begin once your contract is signed, before we move to production.

Does it cost anything to apply? No. There's no upfront cost to apply.

Do you accept Gem Visa or other credit cards? Yes you can use this as you would a standard credit card. Reach out if any questions.
